The games profanity is mild and, as a 15 year teenager, I have heard most of it. The only exception to this is when you're using one of the games shotguns and your very close to the enemy. A pro to this is that you barely ever notice it because the game is very much a run-and-gunstyle of game, so you're barely ever going to stop to see the blood that the enemies spew. However, enemies do indeed spew blood when shot but they do not "explode into flying chunks" from what I have seen. The campaign mission I have played was super fun and I like the way respawn incorporated their unique mechanics into the game. Overall I think that this is a great game and should be fine for your mature 12-13 year old.Īs I have played the first campaign mission and some games of multiplayer, I have found that this game. Titan on titan combat relies solely on large explosions and over the top, nonsensical attacks with no blood apparent whatsoever as they are gigantic robots. Also, the namesake of the game, the titans, every 5 minutes or so you have the option to call in your titan, a large mech-like robot. In this you have the option to make your character's race a robot, this removes all blood from the equation as being shot results in nothing more than sparks. Another thing that parents should be aware of, most of your time spent in-game is in the online multiplayer. While the game does have some profanity, it is exclusively in the campaign and only occurs once or twice throughout the entirety of the story. The violence is much more reserved and toned down, with the campaign relying mainly on puzzles that make you think critically rather than guns blazing nonstop violence as a way to challenge you.

However, Common Sense Media says that players"explode into chunks" which is not present the game. When human enemies are shot there is some slight blood. I've been playing this game for a while now and am loving it! What parents need to know is that while this is a M rated game, it is much less violent than others on the market.
